OEM Win10 Motherboard Upgrade questions

I was about to upgrade my motherboard when I realised that I own the OEM version of windows 10. Some Microsoft forums say you can upgrade motherboard without buying windows again, while others say you will need to buy windows again as it is technically a new computer. What should I do and what will it mean for the data stored in my HDD's, eg. programs and stuff on my boot drive?

Its up to microsoft if they will allow you to move it or not. Technically they dont have to let you as the oem license is tied to the motherboard.
