OEMs Getting Windows 8.1 RTM Next Month

I beta tested win 8 and absolutely hated the metro UI on a PC. I tried to give my feedback to make it an option to use it, because the metro UI works very well on a touch screen (I have a Nokia 920), on a desktop, not so much. Now, I'm trying to get used to it again on the 8.1 Enterprise preview and I seriously keep switching back from Metro and the desktop and I'm still trying to figure out whats the point? Leave it on the desktop and work from there. The Metro UI is just an un-needed annoyance. There should be an option to choose your version at installation. Have the install branch in one direction or the other. This compromise UI crap just ruins an otherwise good OS
