Hello all, has anyone have any problems installing Office 97 on Windows 2000? I installed Office 97 as an administrator on Windows 2000, but unlike WinNT4 only the administrator is able to run Office 97 successfully. Other users on the system are unable to run Office 97. Is there any extra settings that I must execute? Any help is appreciated.

While logged on as Admin go to each executable, i.e., Word, Excel, Power Point...ect. and right click, then properties, and select the security tab, then give your user account full privileges.

You shouldn't have to do anything special. I've got 3 machines here that required 97 instead of our usual 2k, and the other users have no problem running them. Are these other accounts power users, admins, or what?
