I was recently offered a spare office pc (dell or HP) with an i5 3570,
8gb ram (regular Kingston I believe)
500gb seagate
And some cheap PSU (I have a spare cooler master anyway).

Just to be sure could I strip the motherboard etc out of the case and use it for a custom build in a new case?

The other bit I’m unsure on is motherboard which I’m hoping to find out, but my question was do all motherboards come with a GPU slot?

It won’t be a huge build, just something that can play WoW etc for my younger brother as I can’t stand seeing him on a crud laptop any longer...

I was thinking of putting a 1050/1050ti or an old 770 in it I have laying around?

CPU-Z will identify the motherboard.
An office system will have likely been using the motherboard and cpu integrated graphics adapter.
From what I have seen, that should be able to give a good experience with WOW.

GTX1050/ti would be a better card to install than a GTX770.
It should run on a minimal psu, even the one in the dell pc.

No components will run hot, Can you reuse the dell case?
