Some e-mail messages cause Outlook 2010 to crash. Even if the message ends up highlighted because it is next in line to one I'm deleting it will crash Outook. I cannot open, nor can I delete and if I try or just highlight the message Outlook crases so I have to go to task manager, end task, restart Outlook. I have tried going offline then deleting and/or opening the message(s) that are causing the problem but same thing happens. I sure hope someone has the solution. I'm also running Windows 7 on a PC. Thank you.

Try opening Outlook in safe mode or without addons and see if you can delete them.

Safe mode command :: Outlook /safe
Without addons/addins :: Outlook /a

The command has to be run in Run command. (Press Windows button and R key)

I tried both. In safe mode I could delete the messages. I left one "problem message" and tried running without "addons" but still unable to delete or open message. Just crashed Outlook. Thanks for your reply.
