Question Oh No, Wrong RAM?

Did a new build for my first time in about 25 years (I'm 41, for reference), and everything seemed ok, but the next day while starting it up, it just shut itself down and now, even after clearing the CMOS, it still won't get anywhere past the initial black screen.

One of the four little diagnostic lights on the motherboard is lit up for DRAM.

After looking up the the motherboard's supported RAM, mine is not on there. It's the Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5 32GB (2x16) 6000MHz CL30 - looks like the MB supports nearly the exact same memory but with a different chip. - same size, latency, etc, but with a different chip. Could that be the problem?

How frustrating. I guess things haven't changed much 20 some years later. haha

Thanks in advance!
