ok i believe there is a virus

i am an IT in training, and i am working on a Gateway for a friend. she had a problem where it whent black right after login,and the only thing that would show up is the cursor and the task manager. i was able to boot into safe mode with networking and download anti virus software. upon scanning i noticed that there was 20 malware on the system 2 minutes later the screen has static and it shuts itself off and it wont turn back on. if anyone could help that would be great its windows 8

Try running Kaspersky Rescue Disk 10 from a usb drive.
