Question Old 90s PC game please help me remember the name!

So I used to play this PC game, this is what I remember.
you arrived on a sort of water plane into a jungle?!
you had to solve different puzzles and there was a bad man where you rescued a parrot/bird. I can’t remember much more than that but I loved it! Maybe it had a chemistry puzzle in it too, I may be mixing that up though with something else.

Ah!! Secret island of doctor brain, the puzzles is what I’m confusing this other game with, thanks for that. I’ve definitely mixed the 2 games up.
This other one though is like a Columbia dude that’s trying to steal birds?! I think, I’m pretty sure you have to free them or one of them? It’s a boy and his dad is on a business trip I think?
