old epson laptop form 1993

Hello today my dad was with his mate and he was in the shed and he noticed this laptop and he asked about it my dads friend knew i loved old computers so he said i could have it i have know idea what is is or what it is for only thing i know is it is from 1993 and thats it i think it is meant to run DOS of some sort and i thin it has a 40mb HDD i have some pictures below

I would expect L3s would run a version of Epson DOS v3 or the like.
