Yes, i know, most of you folks will laugh at me for asking this, but since i don't have a clue and you people do i am seeking your help-

I bought a Dell Precision Pro 3650 back around December 2023. I just went with the onboard graphics (something i never used to do, but i was already spending enough money).

We recently moved and now I am going through a drawer of parts i have stored over the years. I found a:
VisionTek 7750 2GB PCIE MDP PN: 7750X42GPC

Am i better off staying with the original Dell onboard graphics, or should i try to install the VisionTek board?

My graphics demands are admittedly very light (no gaming), but IF it would be any sort of upgrade, i'll install; if not, to the circular file it goes-

Thank you smart people!

Best Regards,
-Bruce

I wouldn't bother placing that discrete GPU into your build. It's also very likely it doesn't have an UEFI VBIOS which will result in a black screen in spite of the system booting into OS GUI, besides just draining more power from the system when you're perfectly capable of doing what you need to do with much lower power off the iGPU.
