Old GTX 275 or newer GT 730 ???

Hey everyone,
I'm in a very low budget, and my friend offerd me his GTX 275 for 80$.
In the oder hand I'm looking to buy a GT 730 .
whitch one should I buy?????

Neither. The GTX 275 is better than the 730, but the 740 is in the same tier as the 275 and you can buy one new for $80. Or even better, 750tis have been dipping under $100.

The newer Nvidia Drivers do not work that well on the gtx 2xx cards trust me that card is past its prime. As for a 730 It is a subpar card. I would advise no lower then a 750TI

2xx cards aren't even DX11 compatible. You really need to pass on this one, given that DX9 and 10 are really on their way out at this point.

Oh, by the way I'm playing on low resolutions like 1280x1024 or lower on medium settings ( not interested in high graphics).

If the intention is to game I wouldn't go lower than a 750 otherwise I expect you will be sorely disappointed. The 730 isn't really a gaming gpu, it's aimed at pc's that don't have integrated graphics and need a gpu just for basic display

$80 for a GTX 275 would be far too much. My friend is willng to give me a 660 for that much and after some research that's the average price in my area.
