[SOLVED] Old hard drive with Windows/Games How do i put it in new pc

The hard drive has all my games but it also has windows. I have windows installed on my SSD is that going to interfere with anything? Also how do i use the hard drive without formatting it ?

Normally, when games install they kind of integrate with windows - then most probably you'll have to install the games over again. However, you can just try to locate the main exe files for the games and try to run without installing, just to see if it works for some games.

Depends on how the game was installed.
Origin & Steam you can just add the location on the HDD to the Apps library locations usually.

but how then would i uninstall windows?

You don't. At least not yet. I would not even begin to think about doing it for at least 3 months just to see what I actually need to retrieve from it.

You can delete the unnecessary folders once you sure they aren't needed. Keep in mind that many of your game saves are in your Users folder. I suggest making a backup before experimenting so you have a way to recover the folder if needed.
