Question Old HDD problem ?

It will show as unallocated after turning MBR off.
After turning MBR on it will appear as allocated again.
After changing MBR on/off it may be necessary to restart your pc.

Ok, if I understood correctly, first I turn off MBR from the editor section and then run the scan on the defective drive with remap selected. Once the scan is done, I switch On MBR and then restart my pc so that my hdd is visible.

Hope I've not missed any steps.

However, I still got the Access Denied error even after switching off MBR and the remap did not work.

Not sure what to do next.

Make sure you run Victoria with administrative privileges.

I ran the software in administrator mode and did a short scan. Now it shows 4 bad sectors and still getting the access denied error.
