Hello there, I'm trying to update an old bangho m7xks laptop, it came with windows 7 preinstalled, but now it is the only OS that completes the installation process, I have tried windows 10 x86 and x64, lubuntu and elementary OS.
The laptop originally had 1 stick of ddr2 1gb ram, I replaced it with 2x2gb. The ram is working fine, because as I said if I install Windows 7 it boots, and runs without any trouble. The thing is it lacks a lots of drivers, that windows 10 already have.
Can it be the HDD or the processor?
In windows 10 I get a lot of OOBE errors till the point I can't skip them and I can only click "retry".
With ElentaryOS and Lubuntu the setup only starts if I plug a lan cable to the laptop.
But Lubuntu doesn't installs, it throws an unsquash error.
And elementary boots to a black screen with only the mouse cursor.
What can I try? Should I stick to windows 7 I guess.

Thanks for the reply, I've already tried all of them, but the error persists, I cant install any other OS that isnt windows 7.
the laptop specs are
motherboard
AMD tf-20 procesor
4gb ddr2 667mhz ram
it has ATI graphics, but I cant find a driver for it or identify it, the chipset have this number:
AMD
216eva6cva12fg

It seems that the graphic chip is the one causing errors, but as I said, windows 7 installs and runs just fine.
