My old monitor that I would like to use as a secondary monitor "died" the other day after I unplugged and moved my setup (coincidence, maybe) and once plugged back in it would not power on at all. I tried multiple ports on my computer and multiple wall ports that are not on the same line. The PSU is definitely shot (unfortunately) and I went ahead and tried a different (less voltage) PSU for it and (surprisingly) the backlight on the button you press to turn it on lit up like it used to...but the screen did not light up. This may be due to less power going to it, but could this mean that it does indeed have a chance of surviving?
It served me for quite a few years and it'd be a shame to part with it for good.
This is the monitor that was used just in case that is important.

(I know that it is terrible and not 1080P, it will be used for pulling up text files and nothing else and therefore doesn't need to be HD)
