Old Packard Bell Display Problems

Good evening,

I've been playing about with the machine below, only to turn it on today and the screen is now displaying random colours and grey lines.

I have added a floppy drive and cd drive to the machine but the issue persists if these are removed and it seems to have happened in a week.

It currently doesn't have an OS on the machine and the monitor I am using is relatively new.

The motherboard is a Packard Bell PB640.

Anyone have any ideas what might be causing this?

The onboard video card is bad.

Maybe you could try another monitor, but i think DeadRam is right.
Do you have a spare PCI or ISA video card you could try?
