Hi all,
Just dug out a old pc i have, I bought this around 2013/14 used it for about a year then that was that, I have just booted it up etc etc,
I went on 'userbenchmark' to check what its scoring and on 'graphics' its 1% .. would this benefit from a graphics card at all, I was looking at maybe a MSI Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 8gb

My PC specs:
- System: MSI MS-7786
- Motherboard: MSI A55M-P33 (MS-7786)
- Windows 7
- 8GB RAM

Thanks in advance.

since the best cpu you might have on this board is either an A8-3870K or X4 651, which both score as high as a Q9400, which is really not much of a gaming system to be honest wasting money on a 1080 is pointless ont that older system of yours,
if your wanting to keep it working for "desktop or workstation usage " get a GT720-GT730 and be done with it.
if your expecting to game with this, you can try a 1050ti on it but I have doubts anything better will run on it.
