Old school game PC build

I'm looking to build a system to play my older games, like BG 1 & 2, Diablo 1 & 2, etc... My most demanding game would be WOW. Looking for a basic cheap build, nothing fancy. I don't care about playing WOW at blazing speeds, just enough to get by without any noticeable issues. I recently built a system and am having issues playing some of my old games. Those older games are some of my favorite games that I don't want to toss out.

Well could you post your budget, parts preference, which parts you don't require...

I think anything you buy at the cheapest price will probably work.
You could do with the simple MOBO with onboard display, sound and network.
A simple CPU (AMD X2 are quite cheap and have nice performance), and around 2G DDR2 RAM (hard to get less than 2G these days). Hey if you are on a budget you can probably build a cheap system for around $200-$250.

Thanks for the replies. I'm looking about $250 max. I've never owned an AMD based system, but I'm open. I don't need anything but the tower.

You could save about $30 getting a single core proc, and 2GB of RAM.
