[SOLVED] Old system but 2080 ti?

Hi,

I have the following hardware but I've got the oppourtinuty to get a 2080 ti graphics card.
I'm wondering if I'll have to upgrade any of this stuff?

Motherboard: ms-7917
CPU - I7-4790k
Ram - 16gb DDR3

I'm not sure if other system info is important as I'm pretty clueless about this stuff. If so let me know and I'll find out and add that.

Depends on what resolution and refresh rate your are playing at what monitor do you have?

On short you will be fine, you will get over 100 fps in any game, best suited for this card would be a 1440p monitor (144Hz), i think your computer can handle that.

You can use a 2080ti with that setup but you may run into cpu limitations at 1080p. You should still get high framerates, but you may wanna look into a system upgrade in the next few years.
