Old system upgrade or buy new?

My system:
MSI Z87-G45 Gaming LGA 1150 Intel Z87
Intel Core i5-4570 Haswell Quad-Core 3.2 GHz LGA 1150
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3
GeForce GTX 760 2GB 256-bit GDDR5
Thermaltake Black Widow W0319RU 850W ATX 12V v2.3

Hey Guys,

I know, pretty old system I built in 2014 and it is time to upgrade. But I was hoping I could save some money and just upgrade some components.
I only use it to play some games. Biggest I play are Fallout 4 (with all fancy mods), skyrim, PUBG and Castle story (check it out, super fun).

I was wondering if i should upgrade my video to 1070ti or 1080 and do 16g of ram. I already have some SSD that I ran games and separate for windows. Or should I start saving for new complete system?
I'm a casual gamer, not pro. Dont do any video processing or anything like that. Just play a game one or twice a week.

Thank you for your help!

What is the make/model of that PSU? If it is a generic brand, or low quality unit in general, it needs to go. I would definitely go with a better GPU. GTX 1070ti would be a massive upgrade, over that 760. Could maybe throw in a 4790k, for some better multi-threaded support, and overclocking, if you can find a good deal on a used one.

i have Thermaltake Black Widow W0319RU 850W ATX 12V v2.3
my main concern was with older Mobo and CPU. but looks like my CPU is still selling and looking at other peoples upgrade request i'm okay with my CPU.
I've never overclocked before, and i dont know if i ever will.... just for stability and longevity of components.
Right now i'm looking at some GPU's 1060 vs 1070ti. For my system would it be worth the money? I don't know if it will bottleneck on my Mobo/CPU later on some demanding games that i don't play/know of yet.
Upgrading ram is kind og given. Since i have 8gm and some games already been using 8gb. So 16 is the right thing for me to do.

i would like to keep it under or close to $400.
Yesterday i priced a "new build" (mobo, CPU, GPU, ram) and it came to $1000 i would like not to spend that much.

I would get a better quality PSU. That PSU is built by HEC, and HEC does not equal quality. 850w is overkill.

Thank you Sir!
I shall do that.

Just out of curiosity, why did you chose that particular GPU?
Also i just went on to NewEgg Business and that card is $319 now, not $249-$30 rebate, would i be better getting different card for the price?

yeah, i'm definitely getting more memory. But ... would i be better of getting 2x4gb and filling other two slots or just get 2x8 and replace? is there difference?

Actually i found an answer. 2 x 8gb would be better. with no real differences with 4 x 4bg.

I chose it based on the listed price. It is about even with a GTX 980, performance wise, and used 980's don't seem to be much cheaper. It seems PCPP hasn't updated since the BF/CM sales went live, and ended. Any other GTX 1060 6gb, will work, if it meets your budget.
