Nothing wrong with VA panels imo. Curved or not, as it's a matter of taste.
VA panels don't cost an arm and a leg, have excellent contrast and generally perform well in lit or dark rooms. Their weakness is "washout" that happens when viewing the screen at an angle. To that i say i watch my screen from the front so washout doesn't bother me.
Most VA derivative monitors usually have atrociously bad response times. They look like a blurry mess. I am sure there are some good VA panels, but that is my experience for what its worth.

That AOC Q27G3XMN looks good man. And highly rated. It is sad that we still gotta wait few more months at-least for it to release here. Hope it hits the market soon. One of my friend been waiting for it.

It does depend on the game, yes. That's another reason most gamers would prefer IPS.
With OLED, it's not neccesary to choose between high contrast or high response time, though brightness, price and burn-in are it's issues.

I don't play games that would require response, and picture quality is more important to me so i'm happier with VA.

Response times are picture quality. VA panels make games look like a Monet painting rather than what they are supposed to look like if there is any amount of movement... And OLEDs are plenty bright.

No that's just not on. Maybe cheap or non-gaming VAs. VA panels made for gaming monitors do not look like that.

If you compare the amount of screen blur from panel tech to panel tech at the same refresh rate, VA traditionally looks the worst. IPS panels have made huge strides in the last 10 years to this effect. VA panels have also made improvements, but have not made as drastic of an improvement as IPS with regards to motion blur. I know of some VA panels that look fine, but they usually cost the same as a comparatively better IPS panel.

To everyone on here i just realized something, I know nothing about computers, even at an early age - Everything i knew was self taught, however its different now 2024 way different than how it was back in 2000+ with youtube and such before I purchase anything computer related i would need to know the ins and out of somethings (To a person like myself its overwhelming and just cause my brain to explode haha) I mean to an average casual person vs a hardcore computer enthusiast I realize I lack so much knowledge its like .. ok i would compare it this way through everyday life as a causal fan - Example a simple analogy guys of what i'm trying to say but i can't really put things into words correctly like i love MMA or football so its like me explaining my favorite fighter or favorite team and why there great , the martial art moves they do, or the different plays that are given by a coach.

or simpler words explaining them to your girlfriend/partner and there like "huh" lol.

I'm just stating i'm willing to learn guys, so if there any youtuber dudes you guys watch? books/pdf or magazines i would like to check them out. So far i just found JayzTwoCents who seem interesting and knows what hes talking about. Personally i feel like the fanbase has changed and grown over the years... people are willing to learn and sometimes hey its theraputic to just have pure knowledge of computer stuff.

My bad if i forget anyone i'm not sure if you guys are already tagged and i didn't need to do that, however i'm curious to know your knowledge on computer stuff, if its experience, self taught over the years, or trial and errors for yourself. Anywho I truly appreciate everyone taking the time to respond back to me, thank you!

Whatever you or others may think of LTT, this is a great video for people who don't know as much about PCs with regard to building one for the first time or first in 10+ years. Personally, I learned most of what I know about PC's and tech from first hand experience, taking an A++ course in high school, and then getting jobs in the IT industry.

Youtube is good source to gather info and learn from be it the basic idea of what all one should consider when planning to build a new PC like Gamer's Nexus, LTT, HardwareUnboxed etc. What are the latest trends etc. But then most review Youtubers also mostly talk about current stuff which is already out. Few cover what is about to come and there are some dedicated channels for that like Red Gaming Tech, Moore's Law is Dead etc.

So you can go through few of those to get basic idea. Rest what is the best and what you should consider you can always comeback and discuss here. You are most welcome on this Forum. And all of us be here to help you out as much as possible and answer all the questions you got.

Another guy to check out is tech yes city. He’s from Australia but it’s pretty cool when he goes to Japan or China and is part hunting in the huge markets over there. One other guy is tech deals. He really does a good job explaining stuff. Paul’s hardware is ok too. Also check out PC Builder. He seems to do a weekly stream or so where people submit builds and he will tweak them and give recommendations on parts.

If you do have a microcenter, as I said the folks at mine are usually very knowledgeable and you can pay I think $150 for assembly if you don’t want to fight with assembly. I agree though I started on computers in the late 90s and it’s a lot different. Some things are much easier but some things are just different.
