Question Older pc , on power up no video display

I have a pc i purchased at least five years ago but never even opened the box. I just now decided to see if I could get it going. It was a refurbished pc with Windows(can’t remember if 8 or 10). Power up, but not sure if HDs are spinning up and no video out. I added a new graphics card still no video out and I just replaced the 3v battery on the motherboard.
Please advise as to possible solutions.
