[SOLVED] OLED TV as gaming monitor?

I'm planning on using my LG 65C8 TV as the monitor for a new gaming build. Will this TV work well for Cyberpunk 2077 on an RTX 3070? Or would it be worth it do buy a dedicated gaming monitor?

You would be limited to 60hz refresh rate . If you are ok with that then that tv is ok for gaming.

Thanks for the reply. That was my main question, what frame rate I could get. So it's limited to 60fps for gaming, even though specs for the TV list 100hz refresh rate?

To be honest now that I have tried to find a true refresh rate I can't tell. It does say 100/120hz refresh but so many others mislead saying that and it is actually 60hz refresh rate. The only thing I could find is if it says tm120(true motion) it is 60hz refresh rate. If it says TM240 it is 120hz refresh rate. You can have 300fps on a 60hz refresh panel, it just doesn't look as good as a higher refresh rate panel.

Looks like 120Hz is available at 1080p only. 4K is 60Hz https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/lg/c8-oled

I'm using lg 48 cx and it's kinda amazing. The newer models have gsync and 120 hz.

Thanks for all the informative replies. I'll be gaming at 4k, so I guess that means 60hz on the C8.
