Ive recently allowed myself to buy another terrible pre built PC, for like $300 i guess. Lol. This PC was alright few years ago, and now I think the game being played, overwatch, well is allowing sales and that for cheap. SADGE.I am open to this being as good as this pre built gets, because the case is quite small. However there is another option to discuss and am questioning someone with more experience than I about parts.

Is there a way through the web to find the parts I'd need to make this an acceptable Indie gamer? Like I know im not doing competitive gamer with much of any game.

The question and choice option is to make this a presentable rebuilt pre built PC, any upgrade you'd make that includes all the options and starts with the best choice option of the included parts. We obviously need to decide what to do before anything is paid for, I feel bad ramping the price up with this terrible PC, but someone needs to get it into its final shape.

So again i need you to replace parts that fit into this PC, at least one part needs to be kept. I can't just start new with this one, im not ready. Please tell me your thoughts on where to go from here. I know the HP website has some insight to help, but not really the direction I'm heading, because this is an ass computer. Price is mostly the tell, because I won't need this to be the best computer. I only will be needing this computer to have an upgraded functioning asset to the rest of my network. Ultimately I am only interested in buying the parts, because looking for a list of applicable parts has been bad. Lets say you get something too for working on this for me. Tentatively I think that someone will know what to do with this objective.

This stage of my Network is that the emulator is in the way of the Mobile game store for desktop. I can't have my google play store yet, and nothing is more ready than I...hmm.

To start...
A picture of the sticker on the side of the PSU.
A picture of the motherboard.

What is your budget for this upgrade?
You might be better off selling this HP as it is, and applying those funds to building some new.
I considered selling, but I feel bad selling this <Mod Edit>. Uh pictures right, the motherboard is on the website.

Feel bad? Why?
Unless the buyer was say getting out of gaming. Most people would see the gaming esc and all that expecting to get a good one. I knew i wouldn't but the price lol. I have a good sized budget. But can you use any of these parts to make a mid gaming pc, like upgraded to how it is now

also for the pictures, will i need to open the case?

say the case could be used with all new parts for an encouraging experience.
or i have a good enough power supply lol, motherboard worth keeping?
one of the parts has got to be the best at working with better parts.

You have a 7th generation CPU/motherboard.
6-7 gens old, from 2017.

Any CPU change will require new CPU/motherboard/RAM/PSU.
Any better GPU will almost certainly require a new PSU.

It was an average office level system, 7 years ago.

If you're trying to do it cheaply -- your writing style is a bit confusing -- probably the best thing you can do is move the motherboard/CPU/RAM to a proper case (it looks like it'll fit in a standard uATX case). Replace the power supply with something proper that isn't junk like a new CX 450, and then get a used RX 470/570/480/580 GTX 1050 Ti/1650.

Not sure what's wrong with the PC. It's a $300 office PC from a few years ago and you pretty much got what you paid for.

I am only looking to upgrade the functionality of the game playing. I have another tower im working on also for the streaming bit. Money isn't to hard for me to pump into the section, and i want to wait on the custom build. This being my first option, besides using an iPhone to buy a custom PC. Obviously i could buy a new custom on this pc, however i thought i could make improvements before moving onto a perfect custom.

How would those parts help this PC, specifically because im not sure whats improving. I also apologize about the writing, i occasionally practice english rather than trust im saying the right thing, but i improve.

I'm not quite understanding what *exactly* you're looking for. Just "upgrading the functionality of the game playing" is a rather broad thing. It can mean any type of improvement from small upgrades to big ones. Unless we have a budget and some clear, specific goals, it's hard to give you much of a plan other than very general ideas.

Additionally, this:

What is your overall goal with these systems?
I would like to keep this model PC for any game i want to play, online or not. That being said, its really not great for games now a days. So im looking to improve the functioning unit as a gaming device. Id like to integrate the right parts to make the game go good, not competitively but like a demo. So i can begin playing on PC, I already game on consoles, and im not looking to switch but I gotta learn how.

Some games are better on PC, so id like to make run here and see to it that the next go is a custom PC that either relies on another tower for edits/livestreaming, or can do it all at once. i sincerely don't think the hp website is directing me towards these goals. If i need to scrap x amount of parts to bring the best of this PC into a better situation, well Id prefer that to buying another tower right now. cause then id have 2 bad PCs and one custom.. rather would improve one of these bad ones.

well so far i have only worked on the internet, Ive bought a good router and modem for my new house. I have consoles to game play with, however i think some games would be moreso better on PC. Diablo and some other ones. Right now the games i play are just somewhat bad, for this pc. I think i was told to increase the ram and expand to a SSD.

Technically I'd like to make room to quickly load older games i havent finished playing, this isn't for competing. So i'd need a good memory and a fast way to open the game files. When its running, i don't mind keeping the settings to standard 1080p high refresh...nothing desiqned premium. Like a indie game would be maxed out first, soo just sticking to that. some games need a lot to be at the top tier performance, of which ill just build a custom for.

Maybe i am thinking of increasing the GPU, Power supply, and having a top tier SSD. Maybe motherboard too.. but I don't know what parts im keeping out of the original build...and how to make improvements really
