HI all. I have an HP Omen gaming PC (Model: 870-120) that is a few years old and wanted to upgrade the RAM. I have been looking on the HP site but cannot see if this system can upgrade to 16GB of RAM or not. It currently has one stick of 8GB in it (not sure what kind...)

Here are the specs I have:
Microprocessor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6400 CPU @ 2.70GHz
System Memory, Memory Slot 1: 8GB Samsung 2133MHz
System Board: 2B4B 1.04
Graphic Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB

Please let me know if I can do any upgrading. I am looking at RAM first, and potentially a graphics card but not sure what the system can handle. Thank you!

Solution
So there are 4 RAM slots? Can I just add another 8GB of DDR4 to hit the 16GB? I am not sure about the PSU as you mention so would need to determine if I can upgrade graphics card or not
Remove the ram stick in the machine now.
Shop for an exact match.
That's not a guarantee the two sticks will play nice together but it gets you closer.
Fit the two sticks in the proper slots......see the manual.
Test.
