On board wifi

I just built a new pc and I can't connect to the Internet. Do I have to buy a wifi adapter or does my motherboard have wifi on it already?


My motherboard is the Asus H97 Pro Gamer

Yes you have to buy your own wifi adapter if you want to use wifi.
On board wifi is a premium feature for desktops motherboards.

Not necessary, an ethernet cable is the alternative which can match /surpass wifi.
