Hello. I'm dealing with issue solving and unfortunately I can't deal with it alone. So my issue: i have tp link TL-WR841N. This router is new, just one week used. I had same issue with old router.
So my router gives me frequent disconnects from internet. I still have wifi signal though. So to resolve this issue i have to re-insert the cat5 from my router. I doubt this is router "issue" since changing router didn't solve this issue.
So after re-inserting the cable or restarting the router i have network till the next drop. So i have to repeat the steps.
I gave call to ISP they say the line is fine :)

My tp link log errors are

Could be, if wifi works fine. A good quality cat 6 cable or try plugging into other ports on the router.

Another possibility maybe the ethernet card in the pc. Its settings or a fault with the card/port on the mobo ??

Ill try to connect PC. Also I seem unclear.
Signal stays there, but i don't have internet Also i lose my WAN data. When it drops all WAN data is 0.0.0.0
When i restart the router/re-insert cable eveything comes back to normal till next drop. replacing router didn't fix my issue

Thanks for suggestions ill try something.
@KingLoki
nope, i don't have network at all. All devices i mean, tv, phone, just signal. And as i said i need to reboot the router or re-insert the cable that goes into wan port.
edit: and yes i'm on ppoe2 connection

What I was asking is whether you are subscribing to DSL service and modem and use cat3 phone line to get online ?

a cat3 phone cable look like the following picture.

it's quite possible the cat3 cable is defect/deteriorating

cat3 has been replaced by cat5e cable for over 15+ years in the industry, do not replace a cat3 cable with another cat3 cable. Replace cat3 cable with cat5e cable yet with RJ11 plug on the end.

I'm still learning new things about network every day haha :)
It seems so, we have electric pole and cable directly comes from there to my house. I'm long time user, and i don't remember the cable has been replaced recently

I meant new home installations will always use cat5e or cat6. Of course no one is going to replace your old phone cable at your home. It's your job/responsibility to maintain in house cabling, even your ISP will not replace it for you.

The router might be "new" but it is using technology that is close to 10yrs old. The wifi they now renamed and call it wifi4.

What is the exact model number of the router. Mostly we are trying to figure out if your connection is DSL. Is there another electronic box that the wan port plugs into...ie some kind of modem.

It could be you are losing the internet connection coming to your house and the ppp going down is just a symptom of the connection going down.
