Question on-ear headphones

which wired, light-weighted (under 250g), On-ear, audiophile headphones (under 230$) can you recommend?

Sennheiser HD599 or Massdrop x Sennheiser HD58X Jubilee. The new AKG 371 is getting a lot of praise right now as a closed back alternative around the same price as the Sennheisers.

You aren't going to find anything lighter and easier to wear for hours on end with no discomfort than the HD599. Not with any kind of good sound quality.

Ah then the AKG 371 I mentioned above is a great place to start. It folds up and is designed for portable use.

To sum his review he loves it with no EQ. He doesn't love ANYTHING with no EQ.

Now there is also a 361 that's even cheaper. Metal has it but hasn't done the review / comparison yet. But another reviewer actually likes the cheaper 361 better.
