Hey guys, I'm having ethernet troubles with my new PC. I have been trying to fix it for two days now, and I am looking for more help as I am completely confused.
I got it to post and installed windows, but it didn't recognize the ethernet connection. The ethernet connection goes from "Identifying" to "Unidentified Network" or "No Internet" loaded drivers from my motherboards website (I have a MSI PRO z690 with an Intel Ethernet Controller 1225-V) onto a flash drive and installed them. That got the WIFI to connect, but the ethernet still didn't work.
I've been trying everything I can find about the issue:
I was looking into the router itself for this issue, but I don't know anything about that. My router is a strange situation, where my apartment came with a GigaPoints 803g connected to an EERO. The 803g is connected to a switch (a NETGEAR GS308,) which is connected to ports that lead throughout the apartment. My WIFI is through the EERO, but the wired connection is through the 803g. This wired connection is in use by another PC and a PS5, in addition to my laptop until recently. None have had any similar issues.
To provide some additional information, my power supply is a CX750M, the new network adapter is a Realtek PCIe GbE Family Controller, my ISP is Astound, the amount of devices connected to the internet is 8, the switch is a NETGEAR GS308 with 8 ports, and this is the third PC/laptop connected to the network, although currently it would be one of two.
Any ideas? I have been looking into this for days, and I don't think I'm getting close on my own.

I've been trying everything I can find about the issue:
- Replaced drivers
- Changing cables
- Resetting the router
- Resetting my PC
- Testing the same connection with my laptop (It works on my laptop)
- Reinstalling windows
- Manually assigning my IP address
- Renewing my IP
- Trying an intel troubleshooter (It says Interrupt Status failed, leading me to think that it was a hardware failure)
- Using a network card (same issue on both devices, so it isn't a hardware thing?)
- Using the Windows Troubleshooter (It finds no issues, but sometimes
