On the Device Manager screen, this is the only warning

In English it appears to be System Management Bus Controller. What is it and where do I find its drivers? The Windows automatic feature doesn't find anything.

The drivers you need are likely available from your motherboard manufacturer. Only issue here is that there are three revisions of that motherboard, and you will need to verify the versions by checking the motherboard itself (usually near the name, fan headers, or first PCIe slot).

After you've confirmed the version, you'll want to download the drivers from Gigabyte. I'll post some links, but it will be best if you search for the proper language version just in case:

I've the rev 1.0 according to the box. Does that mean I need to install the 1.0 drivers, or that I need to install those of the upper versions (ie 2.1)?

For any hardware (not just this case), always install the drivers/firmware of the particular hardware revision you own. If your box says rev. 1.0, download and install the rev. 1.0 drivers.


(for other people, yes, most of the drivers will be the same, but it's not always the case)

Well unfortunately I held off from downloading them for a few days. I just tried and I see this

it's a lot of stuff, which one do I need to download?

First thing you want is BIOS F8, then from drivers->windows 8.1 64bit put in Intel INF installation and then Intel Management Engine Interface
