Question Onboard ethernet port not detected after plugging in graphics card

Hi guys, I have a i5-2500k installed on a MSI H61M-P20 G3 motherboard with Corsair vs650.
I have got a gtx 760 from a friend. The thing is when I inserted the card, my ethernet port(onboard) stopped getting detected.
It shows red cross in windows 10 taskbar. and it is not even getting detected in windows device manager.
Its working when I remove the card.
I'd like to know if anyone has faced similar issue and the solution to it.
