One Adapter Works One Doesn't

So I recently received a x media 300 mpbs pcie adapter it works so much better than my old usb wifi adapter. But when I try to play games on it won't let me actually log in. When I play the games on my old usb it works fine. Any idea why my USB adapter will let me play multiplayer games but my pcie adapter wont?

It is a windows 7 computer and keep in mind the wifi works but I think its a problem with the Lan network. So the usb lets me on the multiplayer games and the Pcie doesnt

Normally, if you have a firewall and you change network - you have to allow everything to go through the new network again.
