Question One graphics card, two monitors of different resolutions

I have a real beginner's question: Can two monitors with different native resolutions work properly when connected together to the same graphics card?

Let's say I have two monitors, one QHD and the other FHD, and I connect both to a graphics card with multiple output ports. Is it possible to make them work together, each at its own native resolution?

You might want to adjust the scaling to get a more seamless move between each in a spanned environment.
Right click on desktop to identify and arrange the images.
