The 770 chipset is fairly new. I would be surprised if the GA-MA770-UD3 didn't work out of the box. It would still be a good idea to upgrade the BIOS after you get the system going, though. The GA-MA770UD3 doesn't technically support the Phenom II X2 545 until BIOS F6 released on 07/31/09, but I still think it should be fine.

The Asus M3A76-CM is a micro-ATX board, but supports the CPU with an earlier BIOS (BIOS 0602 released on 04/14/09).
