Used to get 42Mbps on all devices at home. Mixture of wifi and ethernet over powerline devices. Pretty similar.

Upgraded to full fibre - Now getting over 100Mbps on most devices, whether ethernet or wifi. This is phones, PCs. laptops....

Apart from ONE PC which is showing about 40Mbps still. This is using ethernet over powerline.
OK, so got a wifi usb.

Tried on another PC - 100Mbps. Tried on this PC - 40Mbps. So its not the powerline adaptor, or the wifi signal - MUST be the PC.

Where to start?

Solution
Did you keep both connected? It's probably preferring the Power line. Try disconnecting the Ethernet.

Did you verify WiFi from the same location? Signal strength will affect connection. Heck even case materials will affect it. The antennas need to clear the case. Basically imagine a line between the antenna and router. The case should not be in between.

Solution
Everything the same. wifi signal is good.....

Other devices in the house 100Mbps. Other devices in same location 100Mbps.

Next thing to try is prove it with a long ethernet cable....
