On an old Core2Duo era board a strange problem has manifested. One Ram channel of the two supported seems to be dead. It has two black slots alternating with two white slots and the white slots are dead. They don't detect any known good Ram. The black slots? Perfectly fine. Cuts the max Ram in half though. It shouldn't matter, since the hardware is so old, but I just can't help but wonder. The board has no visible damage, no liquid damage, always operated properly cooled inside a case. No blown capacitors I can see. Can't figure it out.
