All of a sudden one of my ram sticks have stopped working. I have 2 x 8GB sticks, I took one out and my computer boots perfectly fine, I took the working one out and put the second one in and it will not boot at all. The computer boots when both sticks are in fine. I tested all the ram slots with the broken one and all the same issue. I tested all the ram slots with the working one and they all work fine.
I am worried because I just put on a CPU water cooling system in my case and I just noticed after that that one of my ram sticks were not working anymore.
I do not know if its related but, I checked and made sure none of my CPU pins were bent and none of them were but some of the thermal paste was leaking onto the sides of my processor, luckily not was in the pins or on the MB.
Is my one stick of ram just dead?
