Well some EVGA 970s aren't sli compatible if their models differ, not entirely sure on the reason why, so maybe its the same for the msi ones as well?
I'm very tempted to say they will work fine but Id personally be messaging MSI themselves to get the info straight from the manufacturer;that is unless some other forum user has first hand experience.
