Question OneDrive issues

I had to reset my Surface Pro7 to factory settings. I have done this before and it came out ok.
This time, there is a gap in my OneDrive docs. The One Drive has docs from 2014 and then skip to
a few in 2023. I am not sure what happened. I thought the reset would not affect the cloud data.
I need the most recent docs, but they appear to have
disappeared. What am I missing?

I have had a history if bsd's and other computer lockups due to driver issues and loading problems. The only way I have found to break out of the cycle of auto repair and auto diagnose is to reset drive to factory settings.
No, this OneDrive has not been shared with anyone.

Is it possible that you either used the storage limit, or forgot to turn on the sync to the folder when you last reformatted?
Personally, One Drive is the absolute FIRST thing I delete on a new install. We hates it like Hobbitses!

I believe you helped solve my issue. I probably forgot to turn on the sync.
Is there any way of correcting this?

If it wasn't saved in the cloud, you don't have a backup, and the disk has since been formatted....nothing that makes financial sense.
