Hi, bought a prebuilt from Ibuypower and it has lasted me 2 months. Never buying prebuilt again now, but anyway!

CPU temp is usually 20-25 idle, running high performance games it handles it pretty well as well. All of a sudden, I hear a rattle sound that seems like its coming from one of my case fans. I had a friend swap out the case fan and it resulted in changing nothing. I then realized that maybe its the liquid cooling. On COLD starts the cpu temps reach 99-100 and the case fan becomes very loud. After 5-10minutes the temps fall down to normal idle and work throughout the day fine.

Tech support suggests that the liquid cooling is failing and is causing the case fan too pick up the work when the cpu fan is overheating on start up.

cpu:
Processor 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-11900KF @ 3.50GHz, 3504 Mhz, 8 Core(s), 16 Logical Processor(s)

What do you guys think is going on?

No internal fix, as the loop isn't user serviceable. You can replace/move fans, but that's it. If you were to try and open the loop, you won't be able to put it back like it was. It'll definitely be broken at that stage.

Have someone else install it, and perhaps observe how they do it.

What we know:
The 2 case fans on top are the cause of a loud noise on cold startup, sounds like they are going faster than they should.
CPU temps rise on startup and begin to throttle
Liquid Cooling system is faulty

What we don't know:
What part of the liquid cooling system is faulty?

I think they are sending me a replacement for the entire liquid cooling system. Should arrive soon. This morning I think I heard a subtle beeping sound coming from somewhere in the PC. It was consistent, but not very loud and sounded like it was coming from within something. Perhaps the AIO cooling system? This beeping sound stops when the cpu temps resume to normal. May have been occurring the whole time but I just now stopped both fans so I can listen more.

Also this is weird: On start ups I am noticing that the CPU temps are dropping much faster back to normal temps when I physically am preventing the 2 case fans on top from overworking and making this loud noise. When I let the 2 case fans spin and make a loud noise the cpu temps rise vise versa. Regardless lol, the temps are still throttling and reaching 90+ on startup without the fans moving.

However, tech support after explaining every issue in depth as I am here, is very confident that it is the liquid cooling system that is failing overtime and they are 100% confident that is the issue that will fix.
