Hi, I'm new to computers and I built my first computer a month ago or so. I bought Viper Steel Series DDR4 16GB (2 x 8GB) 3600MHz RAM. I just noticed when checking the Task Manager that only 8 gb of RAM show up, even when I have both sticks of RAM put into the motherboard, which should show 16 gb. Does anyone know how to fix this or is this a problem with my RAM or motherboard?
PC:
TUF GAMING B450-PLUS II
AMD Ryzen 5 3600
Rx 470
WD 500 gb M.2
EDIT: I was able to solve this issue. I swapped it around a few times and then it started working. IDK if its because I didn't push it in all the way or one stick of RAM prefers a certain slot, but pulling it out and swapping the slots helped it start working. So for those who have a similar issue, just take it out and put it back in, and or swap them around and maybe it'll work.
