I used to have one samsung ssd + wd blue in my desktop. Recently I decided to add a 3TB WD green in there. However I found out that only sata port0 and port2 are working. I can't get other 4 ports to work.

I can see ALL 3 hard drive in my bios. However when I enter the system(Win10), Only ssd(sata0) and one of the hard drive(depends on which HDD I connect on sata port2) will show up in "device manage" or "disk management"

Welcome to the community, Mimi_3!

I'd recommend you to check all your connections inside the PC case and make sure that all cables are seated properly. If it still doesn't help, I'd recommend you to reset BIOS using one of the methods listed HERE. Keep in mind that the procedure will get your BIOS settings back to factory defaults, so you'd need to reconfigure them afterwards.

Another thing you should check is your motherboard manufacturer's website and make sure you update all your SATA controller and chipset drivers from there. It won't hurt to check if you have the latest BIOS version either.

I'd also use a different SATA cable with the other ports. Hopefully, that will get them to work properly.

Keep me posted with the...

YESSSS! I I tried different cable and sata port before I post the question. No luck. However I did a bios reset after seeing your post. Now ALL 3 of my hard drives seem work fine. Thanks for the solution
