Only 200 mb/s write and read ?

I just bought this Samsung SSD:

it's rated 520 mb/s but according to Samsung's Benchmark program i get only 200 mb/s

what's wrong ??

My SSD is now in Sata 6.0gbps benchmark results are now 500mb/s read BUT only 300mb/s write .... why the hell am ii still getting low write speeds 🙁

If you are getting 500 MB/s Read and 300 MB/s Write benchmark results then you are getting 96% of advertised reads and 93% of advertised writes.

The TigerDirect link in your 1st post shows Read speeds "up to" 520 MB/s and Write speeds "up to" 320 MB/s.

Your drive is in great shape.

Awww i thought the samsung was 500mb/s write 🙁 isn't there other brands that are certified 500mb/s write ? OCZ or Crucial i think

Any idea why i am only getting 5,9 as windows experience index for Hard Drive performence ? 🙁
