only bios loosing video signal

Hi there, having issues getting into bios. After getting into my bios, my monitor looses video signal after 5 seconds. I can be in windows just fine without loosing video signal, just the bios is the problem. I scanned my MB (ASUS Maximus CODE X) and didn't see anything about reset my bios.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How are you connected to your monitor?

If you're actually navigating the BIOS, does signal cut out? Or just when you're idle?

thanks for the follow up! The signal cuts out. I only have 5 secs before signal is lost. I'm not idle during this time.
