Only getting avg 150 fps on CSGO with decent rig

asus p8z77 v lk
i5 3570k 4.0ghz
MSI gtx 980ti
750W PSU
and 24 gb ram

only game i play is csgo
and im only getting 150 fps not even on max settings

The highest refresh rate for a monitor is 144hz (except those pseudo 240hz) so you can see up to 144 FPS with those. You are getting 150 FPS.

You two above me are retarded, this post wasn't a joke. CSGO should be getting a way higher framerate than with those specs. CSGO isn't some game with amazing graphics that you play to go sightseeing, it runs on Direct 3d 9. I am also having this problem, so if anyone has found a solution please reply.
