Only GPU lights up when I flick the psu switch on

Hi, so I recently built a new computer and I'm pretty sure I got everything right. When I try and give it a test run, before putting the sides on the case and connecting the PC to the monitor, nothing happens except for the GPU led light coming on. I've looked everywhere for a solution and I'm yet to find one.

Everything is plugged in and I'm pretty sure I've got the pins right. I checked the motherboard manual and the only thing I think it could be is that the motherboard shows all the pin headers as being 1 pins. But in my case some of the pin are two headers so they take over an extra slot.

The coolers do not run. The only thing that shows signs of life is the video card's green lights coming on.

check if power sw cable plus and minus pins are connected with appropriate pins on mobo. try powering on by touching power sw pins by screwdriver or try plugging different case power switch connector.

I've put the headers in correctly. The PC doesn't start or the fans don't turn when I touch the power switch pin with a screwdriver but the screwdriver is rusty, would this affect it?

I'm going to be a good guy and actually write my solution on here. So I basically removed everything.

I disconnected and took out everything except the CPU and the 2 power pins from the psu. I tested the PC by tapping the power button with a screwdriver. I did this through every step of installing hardware and that's that!
