Hi My name is Daniel I built my pc almost 3 months ago and its been working fine I just came to realize that I only installed 1 standoff on the back of the motherboard on the left top of the motherboard not sure if this is a huge problem cause I've had this pc running smoothly for 3 months with only 1 standoff is that a problem?

Maybe you better disassemble the build and take a closer look. If you truly only have one standoff under the board, it may be very close to grounding out the backside of the board. But I really don't think there can be only one standoff supporting the board. If that were the case, it would be near impossible to have it line up with the rear IO shield.

i mean i've been having this pc for 3 months running just fine playing games the pc is always running so I don't think it should be problem since its been running for 3 months with only 1 standoff

how do you know it only has one stand off? it could have more "factory" mounted ones, please remove the mother board to check because you could fry your system or it could even be a fire hazard.

If you keep asking if its fine and expecting an answer with out giving us more info then you won't get any decent answers.

Then why are you bothering to ask? You apparently just want someone to tell you it's fine. No, it's not fine.

You need to get more standoffs. I only HAD 1 too and suddently,my case started leaking voltage. I just preesed my DVI-D monitor cable aginst the case and i chould feel the tingling inside. So get more standoffs.
