Only motherboard and graphic card disc make loud noise?

Basically I upgraded my pc and bought Asus M5A78L-M LX V2 motherboard with a new processor, and when I use the driver disc or the graphic card one, my DVD drive starts to make extremely loud noises like it's about to break, nothing else does that. Is there any way I can download the drivers that it has, it has the motherboard drivers and some fan and chip drivers and norton antivirus. It does install them but the noise is just so annoying and it makes me want to cancel it every time.

Actually I just found them but i'd still like to know why it does that
