[SOLVED] Only One Stick of RAM Available to System

Hello all,
I am building a new PC and have been having issues with my RAM.

PC Specs;
CPU: Ryzen R5 2600
GPU: GeForce GTX 770
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2xGB @ 2666GHz
MoBo: Aorus Elite B450
OS: Windows 10

The PC boots and works but. in Windows it says I only have 8 GB available and the other 8GB is hardware reserved. Both CPU-Z and the BIOS show 16GB installed. I have tried all possible stick configurations as well as both sticks individually and they worked fine individually. The sticks are also on the manufacturer's QVL and a Windows Memory test has yielded no errors.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The just just not true Steve? Beyond 32bit OSs with their limitation to 4GB (not relevant here), there's no OS limitation to 8GB.

"Home", the limitation is 128GB
"Pro", the limitation is 2TB

The sticks came as a pack of two, a 16GB kit, in the form of 2 8GB sticks.

There is a built in limit to how much RAM a System uses by default. The RAM limit is predetermined by the OS and this is why you only see 8GB, despite that you connected 16GB of RAM. Do not concern yourself about this issue.
