opened a corsair h50

Ok, so can anyone tell me if I have broken my corsair h50 after pulling the tubes out? Iv put them back in but have I broken a seal? A lot of coolant also came out, I filled with water so it is now a mix. I know this sounds horrendous but was wondering what the case is regardifng this? Iv got a haf912 and currently it is in for repair, they want me to send my h50 to them as they won't work on my machine as I have a h100i in pushing air out the top.. is this too.risky to send them the h50 or shall I just buy a h60 from them to fit and when my machine returns refit my h100i.

if all you did was pull it apart and refill it, your unit should still work after you seal it properly. its voided from the warranty but ti should still work

Thanks, Have you ever pulled the tubes out of pump? That is what I did.

you arent supposed to do that. what you did is rather extreme for a AIO unit. should have just went with a heatsink

i think on the h50 the tubes just push on

dont think theres seals or clamps to break

but i would definitely leak test it outside the case

you can remove the pump cover to look for leaks as well

all in one liquid cooling. they are all jokes (they dont offer anything over a heatsink) except for the h220 from swiftech

1) Why? 2) Why do they need your cooler to work on a case? 3) filled with what kind of water? Tap, bottled, distilled?
Prepare for noisy pump and failure. Unlikely you truly refilled it with no air anywhere. If you used anything but distilled to fill, throw it out. It will fail eventually.

Also a concern with the Hydro series of AIO's is that they use Aluminium in the radiator, so if you were to just replace the coolant in there (an Ethelyne Glycol mix) then you can expect corrosion to occur.
